I’ve had this Foundation for a short while now, since the beginning of January in fact. My skin had gotten really really bad and although I was trying all the skin care, acne fighting products in the world, my Chanel Vita Lumiére just wasn’t covering it enough. I needed to try something new.
After watching so many reviews on youtube and reading so many blog posts about this foundation I decided to give it a go. It is recommended for people who have more dry/normal skin which is perfect for me. It is described to have a light to medium coverage however to me it is more medium. Personally the coverage for me is perfect. It evens out my skin tone and gives a decent coverage to my spots before I apply my concealer.
I apply the foundation with my Zoeva Silk Finish brush and may I just say, Match Made in heaven. The foundation glides and blends so beautifully without getting all soaked up in the brush.
I know, this picture looks very weird but I’ve put it up on here just for you (you lucky thing 😉 ). This shows half my face with the foundation applied and the other completely bare. You can really see the coverage of the foundation and how it really does even out the skin tone without looking caked on or unnatural.
You do however need a concealer with this foundation like most others.
As you can see the foundation almost blurs my ‘imperfections’ and makes them look smaller. However, it doesn’t hide them completely. The change in lighting may also have an effect on the way my blemishes look in the photo on the right.
As for colour match, Mont Blanc works a dream for me, there are 19 shades so you are bound to find one that suites you.
To conclude I absolutely love this foundation and have been using it every day ever since I bought it. I wish I had tried it out sooner when I first saw the online dry skin committee raving about it. Let me know if you have tried it and what you think in the comments below.
Here are some up, close and personal results of mine after completing my makeup,
and yes I will confirm to you that this is my new favourite foundation.
